Modification of Window size

The Window size can be changed by dragging the graph window, but another precise setting is also available.

Standard setting ([Area] palette )

• You have three options available for the mesh which appears on the screen :

  1. 1 by 1 squares
  2. π by 1 rectangles
  3. 90° by 1 rectangles
  You can easily change from one option to another. Similarly, the scale on the y-axis can be changed. Note that 1, π, 90° are only examples, in fact you can choose your own scale in the [Area] or [Scale] settings.

• Specially, it's useful when drawing the graph of trigonometric functions where angles are measured in degrees.

Area setting

You can configure a precise setting by clicking the tab [Area].

Input values for the Window size and the Display area

• You can input values to configure the Window size and the Display area.
• If "Adjust graduation position" is active, the Display area will be adjusted so that the position of each graduation fits to the dot on the screen.

Adjust Display area

• Push the button "Range".
• If you now modify the window size, the Display area and its content will be adjusted accordingly, and the scale remains the same.

Adjust graph

• Push the button "Graph".
• If you now modify the window size, the graph will change because the scales on the axes will expand or shrink.
