II Japanese Educational Administration and Finance
The school system of Japan became a single track system through educational reforms after World War II.
After the reforms, schools, including technical training schools, specialized training schools, and comprehensive secondary schools were added to the system making it appear to be a dual track system. However, measures have been taken to avoid a dead-end situation under the current educational system.
