IV Organization and Implementation of Curriculum
Curriculum development is an activity that evaluates a schoolfs curriculum continuously from the perspective of social change, etc., and then improves it. It includes curriculums at various levels, for instance, schools, communities, and the national curriculum. In Japan, the implementation of the fundamentals of the Course of Study and each schoolfs full involvement in curriculum development commenced after CERI (Center for Educational Research and Innovation) of the OECD advanced an idea called SBCD (School-based Curriculum Development).
