A CRICED staff and a teacher
of the Junior High & Senior High School at Komaba attached to
the University of Tsukuba visited Honduras to do lesson study
with dbook & GRAPES in the CIIE (Attached School of the National
Pedagogical University Francisco Morazan). October 2007 : Lesson Study in the
Republic of Chile
A CRICED professor, a CRICED staff,
a teacher of the elementary school attached to University of
Tsukuba and a teacher of the junior high school attached to
University of Tsukuba visited Republic of Chile. -
October 2006 : Lesson Study in the Republic of Chile
A CRICED professor, a CRICED staff and a teacher of the elementary
school attached to University of Tsukuba visited Republic of Chile for
ten days. The mathmatics class took place by the Japanese teacher in
University of Santiago, Catholic University of Valparaiso and Catholic University of Temuco. In total more than 1,000 people watched the
class. It was a success beyond our expectations.

3 October 2006 : Seminar at CRICED
We invited professor Gladys Gomez to advance our collaborative
study, who is a professor of Universidad Pedagogica Nacional Francisco
Morazan.
She presented a tentative result of her study using a function graphing software "GRAPES" for stundents of normal school in Honduras. After her presenation, we discussed the next step of our collaborative study.

May 2006 : Lesson Study in
Honduras
A teacher of Kubodai elementary school, Minako Ueno implemented
a lesson study in Honduras as a part of training program of PROMETAM
Phase2 which is a project of JICA. The students of this lesson are from attached elementary school of Universidad Pedagogica Nacional Francisco Morazan(UPNFM), and implemented in Spanish. So, it gave good resources
for trainees to learn what "Lesson Study" is.
A CRICED staff visited there to support such activities. And he also
visited UPNFM to discuss about collaborative studies between CRICED and them.

4 October 2005 : Workshop in
Honduras
Two CRICED staffs visited Honduras for two weeks and
organised a workshop for the use of ICT in mathematics
class in Universidad Pedagogica Nacional Francisco Morazan.
We got also some consensus of perspective of our cooperation
in the domain ofmathematics education researches.

2 September 2005 : El Salvador Seminar
Seven mathematics educators, called "G7", from
El Salvador stayed at the
University of Tsukuba for three weeks as JICA trainees.
We held a seminar at 2 September 2005
in order to understand each other on
education.
