Derivative

To calculate derivative, GRAPES uses Lagrange's interpolation for fifth degree polynomial.
The upper bound for the theoretical error using this method is . d is the width of equipartition.
Therefore, if is a polynomial of degree up to 6, there will be no such error.

Indefinite Integral

The indefinite integral for polynomial is only possible, if the degree of the integrand is less than 9. No error will not be produced. If the degree is not less than 9, GRAPES gives back an error message.

Definite Integral

The definite integral is calculated using Simpson's rule by GRAPES. The upper bound for the theoretical error using this method is , where the interval (b - a) is divided into 2n equal parts.
