Researchers from Malaysia visit CRICED and observe a class at an affiliated elementary school
On November 19, 2024, three researchers from Malaysia (Chan Shen Siang, School Improvement Specialist Coach of Science and Mathematics, Sandakan District Education Office, Sabah, Malaysia; Gan Tech Hock, Mathematics educator, Association for Science and Mathematics Education Penang, Malaysia; Teh Kim Hong, Math Educator, Association for Science and Mathematics Education Penang, Malaysia) visited Dr Masami Isoda, director of CRICED and observed mathematics classes of Mr. Moriyama and Mr. Tanaka, math teachers at the elementary school attached to University of Tsukuba.
After the visit, the visitors discussed about the teacher training program in Malaysia as well as the teacher training program in Japan.
