	Class newsletters are published as one means of communication by home-room teachers in cooperation with students and parents. Some teachers don’t publish them. The contents and the methods used to publish newsletters differ between teachers. The newsletter can be an important way to make a class pull together. Newsletters have several functions. The most common function is to inform parents regarding children’s school life and planned school events. They have another important function to convey to students a teacher’s thoughts and ideas, and to provide guidance by teachers to students and their parents through class newsletters.
