VIII Teacher's Qualifications/Training/Appointment
Teacher related punishments comprise dismissal, demotion, layoff and pay reductions. Teachers may face dismissal for reasons such as their poor track records, mental and physical problems, and lack of appropriate qualifications. In punishments involving disciplinary actions, there are warnings, pay reductions, suspension from work, and dismissals. Punishments that affect teachersf positions/status are due to illegal actions, dereliction of duty, default of duty and delinquency.
If there are any objections to punishments given, teachers can appeal to personnel committees.
